Then, it was updated a bit, and the fancy stuff came such as a dumbed down version of engineering with the wire mod, and tons of new game modes, including one that lets you create your own ship and explore other planets. Hell, someone made an addon that gave you control over all aspects of time, only to be used with the single player mode which encompasses the entire HL2 game.
Then...things got bad. I can't recall exactly when the event happened, but I know that when it did, I lost all respect for the man that created the game in the first place, and I had a deep seeded hatred for the people that still believed in him like a Flying Spaghetti Monster. During this event, the people that got mad were crucified by all of those that still liked Garry. They wouldn't...TOLERATE anything bad being said against their messiah.
He created an update to the game which changed the code enough to completely screw everything up. Almost every addon was incompatible with Gmod10, and almost every aspect of the game was glitchy in some way or another, to a point that some people thought Garry was sick of the game, realized not as many copies were being sold, and decided to see how many people he could piss off.
Things almost got back on track. ALMOST. Then, recently, another Gmod update came out, which bumped up all of the code to the Orange Box version, improving...not a damn thing, but making it ridiculously harder on many of the players without top notch computers, and rendering the current addons incompatible yet again.
At this point in time, everyone decided to speak up yet again, and now, at this point, it seems as if things are forever doomed to be manipulated by Garry. He has become an EA of sorts, releasing half-assed versions in the promise of better gameplay, but failing to deliver. The only difference I can see is that he didn't release it as Gmod2008 and didn't charge $60 for it, which is a good thing of course.
Unfortunately, it is all but impossible to find anyway to play Gmod10 anymore. I've looked for downgrades all over the place, and the only old version I found was on a site that required like 60 bucks a month to download from.
Well, I guess that ends my rant. And maybe the recent Gmod10 failure will make it into the next gameshow, however, probably without poking fun at Garry, for he IS the messiah, at least according to those in his forums.

That aside, does anyone have an older version of Gmod10? I mean like maybe 12 months without updating old? Cause if you do, send me the folder somehow so I can actually play Gmod10 again
