I freaking love this game! The graphics are great, and the fighting system is fast and responsive most of the time. I want the soundtrack, as well.

Yes it's a pretty amazing game. Glad some people are finally starting to play it.
The review on RPGFan said that the 2nd half of the game is terrible which kind of has me worried.

It probably has my favorite soundtrack since the Japanese Gran Turismo and Symphony of the Night.
I hadn't even read any reviews, but I highly doubt that a game that has this much polish fell apart. Maybe he didn't like a plot twist???

Falsetto or Viola?

Just rented this one, 'bout two hours in.
Felt like it took forever to kick into gear, but I'm warming up to it.

It certainly is a good anime. I'm waiting for the whole "game" part to kick in, though.

Not sure what you mean by this.
Anyway, once I beat Mass Effect I'll be popping Eternal Sonata back in. Can't wait.

I have yet to even have a chance to play Mass Effect. I can't afford to buy any games right now, and Blockbuster never has a copy available.

i don't agree with that. Final Fantasy has way more exposition.
I wish Trusty Bell was a bit more open-ended, but screw it, it's beautiful, and works out a damn good fighting system.

Hehe, you called it Trusty Bell. So what's a cooler name. The Japanese Trusty Bell or the Americanized Eternal Sonata. I gotta go with Eternal.

I have to say that Eternal Sonata's cooler, but Trusty Bell is funnier so it wins.
