Apparently until I go home for the holidays I won't be able to participate in the chat.

THIS PIECE OF SHIT INTERNET SERVICE THAT OUR SCHOOL SO KINDLY PROVIDES BLOCKS IRC, JAVA, AND ANY OTHER CHATTING CLIENTS EXCEPT FOR MSN MESSENGER AND AIM!

OUR NETWORK PROVIDERS CAN GO FUCK THEMSELVES IN HELL.

Try again in a day or two as I was having the exact same problem using Java the usual way yesterday and had to use mIRC (which I'm usually too lazy to open up). I think there were some technical difficulties relating to the site, because I also used the method I mentioned in my pm to play elsewhere and it worked just fine for that.
