Final Fantasy VII Remake

I'm sure many of you have seen this picture from inside the Crisis Core booklet. Who knows what this actually means, but it is at least interesting for those of us wanting the remake.

It means that if they do it, not only will they get money in their pockets, but half the world will have to change its pants.

Nah, it won't be the same. I'm excited to see what a modern day reinterpretation may look like though.

I might love it, but it might be like the Lord of the Rings movies. If there's anything non-canonical it'll irk me.

Well, once it DOES finally happen, it'll probably end up like what Nintendo's done with Super Mario Bros.

Another case of "How many times can we sell you the same game?"

After all, the original got a lot of money, and then then the remake will net them an amount somewhere near that. After that sales on the remakes would be in steady decline as we get a new version of FF7 every other year.

Well, considering how much Square Enix has milked FF7 in the past, I wouldn't be surprised if they did a remake sometime. I mean come on.

But either ways, it's going to be a long time. Remember what Squeenix said? They said it would take a team of 300 men 7 years to do it

Of course they're gonna make a FF7 remake, it's the only FF game that's been milked like fuck out of all the rest. I was personally more impressed with FFIX than I was with 7. I just think FF7 received waaaaaay ( and still is ) too much hype. I just want the remake because for a while now i've been trying to beat the game, and I lost my save data twice. The second time was when I made the move to ubuntu and back to windows on a fresh start. So I won't start it again until I get a remake.

IX and VII are really different types of FF games. New school vs. old school.

Uh, how the hell much different is 9 from 7? If anything, I'd picture 10 as the starting point for all the change. Then you have 11, an online RPG, and 12, the shittiest story ever with slight action oriented gameplay and bigass bosses (Queen Mimic for Example)

I never played 7, but 9 and 5 seemed pretty similar if you ask me. Just different graphics.
