They must make a sequel for this game, I swear to god this is one of the games I had the most fun with on ps2. It would be awesome for next gen systems. It had the best physics for a game of its time. Anyone here played it?
EDIT: I also really love all the extra modes and how EVERY character down to the weakest soldiers were playable.
Psi-ops sequel.

I was trying to find it at one point, but I never could, so I gave up and cried.Wiizerfanboy wrote:They must make a sequel for this game, I swear to god this is one of the games I had the most fun with on ps2. and on the 8th day, God told Satan to create Myspace because he couldn't bring himself to do it.
Psi Ops was fun as hell. Although, the last level with all the ghosts was a pain in the ASS. I gave up trying to sneak past and just opened fire on em.
Taking over bodies, throwing bitches around, using all the various insta-death areas...priceless.
And let's not forget the gun sepaku(sp?) you could make the enemies do by holding down both the shoulder buttons after you took over a body.

That reminds me of all the stupid fucking fire-fights in Splinter Cell games. There's always AT LEAST one point in the game where you are required to blow the brains out of tons of people instead of sneaking. The worst was Chaos Theory when you had to go through a timed area with no cover...Whole thing amounted to fucking luck and nothing else.Typheus wrote:Psi Ops was fun as hell. OH, and that also reminds me of Geist and the annoying section where you had to fight a bunch of other ghosts. Wasn't as annoying as the Splinter Cell gunfights, but it did suck balls, especially if they came up behind you.

Exactly. They also should've made Fisher capable of actually fighting back against the enemies in some of the required shoot-outs. I mean for god's sake, he can take like 3 hits from a short-range weapon at long-range before he's dead. Even worse, if you get a human shield for these fire-fights, you need to find someway of disabling everyone, but even then, once you get him, he'll literally only last for about 2 and a half seconds at best, since, the second you get him, everyone's shooting, and you can't use cover very efficiently with him. It pisses me off when I have to get to those points...Jesus christ...jayt11 wrote:yeah, the first SC was the worst...when you have to keep the Chinese people from the bomb.
The engine wasn't designed to incorporate shooting...and if they planned on that, lock-on technology would have made it more enjoyable.
