Live Free or Die Hard

BAD FUCKING ASS MOVIE. Just about everything I wanted it to be. McClane still has tons of kickass left in him, and the stunts/action is just fucking amazing at times. It's completely predictable if you've seen the first or third movies, but you don't see a movie like Die Hard for the story. Two Richie middle fingers up.

There's some blatant product placement, like the new Pontiac coupe, or the rollable keyboards (they've been on ThinkGeek.com for years, but I'm sure everyone and their goldfish will want one now). But that's the only gripe I can think of. Great flick overall.

Saw the first showing last night at 11:59 pm. Loved it as well, of course. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that it was PG-13. It needed to be rated R to be a true Die Hard film. It still kicked some serious ass though.

My Die Hard rating:

1. DIE HARD
2. DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE
3. LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD
4. DIE HARD 2: DIE HARDER

I still think that 3 is better than 4, but that's just me. Still fucking rocked though. I'm gonna go see it again on Friday.

Yeah, I take it back. The only other thing missing was McClane dropping F-bombs, thanks to the PG-13 rating. This was a watering-down move to get a wider audience, of course. But I didn't really notice the lack of swearing while I was watching it...maybe it needs a second viewing.

Yeah, he only drops one "bomb" and that's, of course, when he states the infamous "Yippie ki yay, motherfucker!" And even then he mumbles it almost. Oh, and I'm gonna see it like at least 3 more times in the theater for sure. I heard that they cut it up to PG13, but there's rumors of an unrated version that will be released when the dvd comes out that should contain more swearing and blood.

I saw Saturday, and I thought it was alright. I hated how through out the entire movie I was saying to myself "thats impossible" or how I was predicting the next scene.

How the hell they put c4 in their computers? Uploading viruses wouldnt be THAT easy.

Meh. was fun though.
