Hopefully it's just EA's way of saying that the last one sucked. Cause it did. I've been a fan of the series since EA took it into the underground, but Carbon blew. Hopefully we'll see something that plays somewhat like Most Wanted but feels like something DIFFERENT than every other NFS game. And holy shit, can EA say the word ONLINE? What the fuck.

... It's not attached to the car
And i've played most wanted for a while and realized how much it sucked IMO. It feels too arcadey for me, and it feels like a game that will appeal much more to Ricers.

What was the last NFS game that didn't appeal to ricers?
But anyway, I really couldn't care less about this iteration of the series. I've got my Forza 2, and that should keep me happy until Gran Turismo 5 or Project Gotham Racing 4 comes out.
They make the Underground games appeal to ricers because of games like Forza, Project Gotham, and Gran Turismo. Those 3 series are all pretty much the same type of game, where they figure, ok let's do the fast and the furious type shit, cause it'll sell. It's smart on their part, even if the games are half assed compared to Microsoft and Sonys HUGE racers.
