Yes, it does kick serious ass! You can play against US, or Japanese players. Time to practice my Japanese skillz.

Oh, and I played a Japanese person. No wonder they are the ones that occupy the top of the rankings. This guy was awesome!

Just played my first japanese gamer and got my ass handed to me. The japanese apparently know how to say "beatdown" in english, because he told me "Sono beatdownwa deshta." I nearly died laughing. I just hope he was using proper japanese, as I couldn't understand or comprehend much else that he said aside from "Ohio gozaimasu" and "konnichiwa". Online fighting games with a worldwide network are the coolest thing ever!

1. Yes
2. No....at least not usually....you will find about 1 game in 10 has lag issues.

Voice chat; now you can have 13 year old Japanese kids telling you to "Smoke a Cock" too, instead of just the 13 year old American Kids. This really is a big step forward for young teens who like to yell retarded insults at us Big People.
