DC seems to have a better track record with their currently film properties. Batman Begins, Superman Returns, and V for Vendetta were great. I guess they learn from their mistakes with Batman Forever and Batman and Robin. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was terrible though.
Marvel is hit or miss. They seem to be churning them out more quickly, but at a cost.
While I'm glad that comics gain more exposure through film, I'm very curious about seeing comics made into TV series. I forget which one it is, but I heard either Preacher or Y: The Last Man is supposedly being made into a HBO TV series, or something like that. TV shows like Lost and Heroes are very much influenced by comics, and in fact writers and producers for both shows are also writers in the comic industry.
