Has anyone seen that commercial for the new Jack Black film The School of Rock? I swear, Jack Black must listen to the show or something, because at the end of the commercial he's telling one of his students, "Just gotta keep it loosey-goosey, loosey-goosey."

I think to get to the root of this whole "loosey-goosey" thing, we need to consult the instigator, Jack Burton. Jack, where did you hear "loosey-goosey"?

And, for the record, the words "loosey" and "goosey" are not my favorite two words. In reality, one of my favorite is "fuck" and the second favorite depends on the mood I'm in. My first impulse was to edit the title, but I'm willing to leave it be for comedic effect.

i'd add "fucking a-" "bastard" and "heathen" to the running. but for the record, i've never ever heard Richie say the words "loosey-goosey" voluntarily. (and jack, you've got a weird sense of humor)

I actually picked up the saying from my grandpa a long time ago...I really just don't say it that much. It just kind of seemed appropriate for what we were talking about, and somehow, matt went completely insane the moment I said it. That's the first time I've ever seen anyone crack up like that...you'd think that he'd never heard the phrase before then...
