Gamecube keyboard
Gamecube keyboard
Does anyone know where to find a gamecube keyboard for PSO for NOT a ridiculously high amount of money? I'm thinking $50 + S&H is tops to pay for this. I need badly!

I think your best bet would be to look for a product that would allow you to connect a regular keyboard into your Gamecube. I know the PS2 has USB ports on it that allow that type of connection, Im not sure if the GC does though.. But some type of convertor plug, such as PS/2 > USB, or PS/2 > GC, might be a cheaper alternate avenue for you to look down.
Gamecube doesn't have any USB ports, and I don't think adapters like that exist yet. Besides, the official keyboard is better because it's literally a blend between a keyboard and a GC controller; it's a keyboard with hand grips on either side and GC controls on both grips.Evilmagicpirate wrote:I think your best bet would be to look for a product that would allow you to connect a regular keyboard into your Gamecube. But you still have to have the JPN disc to use japanese characters in the game, even if you have the JPN keyboard, right?BreakmanX wrote:That looks like the JPN controller for that game. Which might explain the extra keys. ASCII is a third party, and the keyboard isn't really endorsed by SEGA or Nintendo. Although a SEGA rep did say it was the best solution right now.

And you were complaining about the size of xbox controllers. Shame on you for even attempting to ridicule the system for that.
And also, for some salt in that wound that the keyboard left, USB-to-Xbox port converters are just $8. And that's just for shipping and handling. MS is giving them away for free.
