Best place to get import stuff...

Post by AIDS »

Actually the best place to get import stuff would be to actually go overseas to what ever country you want to get stuff from. But the next best would probably be a company called National Console Service aka NCS. They have everything that's coming out in Japan and whatnot. They even have some old stuff. I was lucky enough to get some rare N64 Treasure games from them, including Bangai-Oh and Sin and Punishment. I wish I could read Japanese, otherwise, I'd order a ton of stuff from them.

I've heard good and bad things about them. I got my SC2 import with no trouble from videogamedepot.com so I thought I'd just throw that out there as another place to check for.

I've used ncsx.com for almost all of my importing, and they haven't done me wrong yet...so until they do...I'm sticking with them.

Sounds good. I'll have to try them out when another high profile import is released. Maybe SNK v Capcom Chaos for GC.

Grrr... Neither of these sites have much in the way of Beatmania or Drummania titles, neither do they have DDRMAX. Sigh... Well if anyone knows where I can find these things, I'd appreciate the help.

DDRMax is out for PS2 in the US.

Here are some more import sites...

I haven't tried either of these sites, but they do have some cool stuff. It seems that these companies operate out of Hong Kong or Japan, so shipping prices might be high and you might have to pay in a different currency besides US dollar. If you ask me, NSC is much easier. But these sites have stuff that NCS doesn't have...

Same title, completely different game. DDRMAX and DDRMAX USA have very few songs in common, which blows dirty Greek goats. Trust me, it's worth having the JPN version (unless you wanna just Stepmania it all, but it's worth having the JPN PS2 for things like BMIIDX and Drummania).
