X-Men Cartoon

Game sighting in a movie? Saw something on the screen other than a game? Weird, let us know.

X-Men Cartoon

Post by BreakmanX »

This had got to be one of my favorite shows of all time. I used to watch and tape it religiously. Anyone else have fond feelings?

Me, me, me!!!

(Who didn't see that coming)

Ahhh, saturday mornings in bed watching TV ^_^

Actually... I thought that the 'cure' plot from the cartoon series was better than the one used in the film. Bring on Apocalypse!

And... I loved the whole Remy / Rogue wanting each other but not being able to touch. It seemed very romantic when I was younger.

X-Men is great, but I think Batman: The Animated Series is better is almost all aspects. Marvel based cartoons like X-Men, Spiderman, and Fantastic Four didn't have the greatest production qualities. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed X-Men when I was younger. One thing that always pissed me off about that show though, was, basically every episode ends with TO BE CONTINUED. Then I'd have to wait till the next week to see what happens.

well, as opposed to Batman, which was focused on 1 guy, Xmen was focused on at least 10-11 main characters. So, yeah, a lot of stories could not be wrapped up nice and neatly in a half hour. That's the hook of Xmen, and why their storylines were generally deeper than Batman's were.

The only area where Batman had a clear advantage was animation quality.

Not the same thing, but it brings back memories as one of the more memorable events in the X-Men cartoon, and it's actually pretty funny.

That's interesting, I feel the exact opposite. Animation quality in Batman was really amazing, though.
