Yeah, I heard that. Life's level-up system sucks.

Heck, I've been playing for over twenty years and I STILL can't double-jump. Confused
XD Me neither. I think I need to jump from a high distance to increase my acrobatics skill a lot. All I need to do after i break my legs is take a small healing potion and I'll be good as new :D

If you mean download the whole game, for free, you should be ashamed.

Seconded.

If you meant buy and download, I don't think there is anywhere, but I'm not sure.

I had this game pre-ordered for a while because I just knew it would be good, even though I didn't get into Morrowind near as much as I thought I would.

I've been playing this game as much as possible lately, and it's been tough because of work and my grad class project. However I will say this much. This game kicks some serious fucking ass.

This is pretty much everything I ever wanted in an RPG and then some. You don't have to like traditional RPG's to like this game. If you like action games, adventure games, RPG's, exploring huge worlds, etc, this game is for you.

Seriously though, I don't know how long I've been playing, but it's been at least 20 hours, and I'm level 13, and only completed the first main quest, almost finished the second.

The graphics are beautiful. I'm running it on a decent PC with a GeForce 6800 GS. I get stutters now and again, but I don't care because it never makes it unplayable. The other thing I'll say about the look, is that I like the interface. It's clean and simple, no more reading novels when speaking to characters... The only thing I don't like about the interface is I wish there were little tooltips or something for the different labels and icons so you knew what they were.

The AI is also quite good, and I've been in some interesting situations. My personal favorite was trespasssing on someone's boat, getting them mad and chacing me. I simply run away past a guard. The guard sees the two people coming after me with a weapon, so he attacks them instead of me. I didn't attack after all. The guard proceeds to kill them both, and I proceed to enter and loot the boat, everyone's happy...

There really is a lot to this game too. It's not a lot of dumb side quests. There are plenty of quests yes, but they are quite varied. Add to this, tons of ruins, caves, and other things to explore, and tons of oblivion gates to close. Plus it's just fun wandering the countryside, sneaking up on a deer, and smashing it over the head with your warhammer and laughing as it tumbles down a mountain.

I'm actually surprised this game hasn't been talked about on the show at all, since there's been some complaining about PC games as of late. Even if you're skeptical, if there's something that sounds cool about this game, I'd recommend getting it. My only caution is to make sure your PC can run it, if that's the version you want. And make sure you have plenty of time to spare. This game's like crack.

Oh, and don't download an illegal copy of this game. If any game deserves to be purchased it's this one. Don't download or torrent this game!

Hah, same thing happened to me! On the Imperial Waterfront, right? Those guards can be pretty helpful sometimes, but mostly they just beat you for no reason. Just like the REAL police.

Yeah, those are the ones. And that is the one thing that's annoying me about the AI, the guards anyway. No matter what you do, or where you are, if you do anything illegal, even if no one can see you, they are instaly on to you. Do you know if you can go into hiding in the wilderness for a while and they'll eventually forget about you? I want to steal stuff when no one is even home. But the guards magically know that I stole something. Damn them.

You generally have to be in sneak mode and the eye icon has to be dark, IE: no one is looking at you.

What kind of character did you make?

If they see you enter, then they will come after you, but they don't seem to show up until you leave the building.

100+ hours later...

I still can't play anything else.

Since Oblivion came out I've played 3 hours of Kingdom Hearts 2 and a couple hours of Guitar Hero, that's all Oblivion has allowed me.

I REALLY want to play Suikoden V and Kingdom Hearts 2, but they still don't outweigh my desire to play Oblivion.

I'm really HOPING I get tired of it soon at this point, but I'm not sure it'll actually happen.

I'm still willing to put it down for online COD2 or GRAW with friends though, keep that in mind if you see me playing Oblivion.

Yeah, so Oblivion's rating has been changed to "M", as anyone who has seen the main BMX page knows. I don't really CARE, but I think its been changed for EXTREMELY stupid reasons. I mean, according to the ESRB, every game on PC that has a nude patch needs to be rated M. That means "The Sims" is rated M now. As for the blood and gore, the ESRB was given video of the worst Oblivion had to offer and they still chose to give it a T rating. Nothing has changed in the retail version, the ESRB is just being wishy-washy. When I saw the first trailers for Oblivion I said to myself "Wow, lookit the BLOOD! That's gotta' be rated M!" I was actually suprised when the ESRB gave it a T.

Bottom line: Bethesda did nothing wrong. The ESRB just needs to be more decisive, and they need to stand by their decisions. Changing their mind about games' ratings three months after they're released just weakens their already shaky credibility.
