x-box life support
x-box life support
x-box life support i mean live support
will only keep X-box afloat for so long.
They better get their act together
and get some decent games out there.
You can only play so many Halo games.
X-box needs "GOOD" exclusive games
and a game that was on PC ported over
to X-box doesn't count.
THE POWER MEANS NOTHING WITHOUT GAMES
(that goes for you too Gamecube)

The Live! service is the nitch market that Microsoft are using to get their proverbial foot in the door, and until anybody comes up with something better, the Live! service will keep X-box afloat. And ofcourse, the X-box is Microsoft, which means it has an unlimited supply of cash that can be thrown at it to stay afloat. And Im sorry to say this break, but if it comes down the companies throwing cash at the consoles so one becomes the true king, then Sony and MS have loads more cash than Nintendo.

I think Microsft basic market strategy is:
"Throw as much cash as possible at the Xbox, it doesn't matter how much we loose now, we'll make it all back and more eventually"
Honestly, I think its gonna work. They've atleast got a foot in the door, and are recognized as the 'best hardware' and 'best online' console. That's good advertising and will only do good things for MS.
But since this is an Xbox bashing forum, I'd better bash it a little... It is obvious the Xbox can't float on its own right now.. It still needs its mummy (microsoft) to help it keep above water. That is speaking finacially anyway...

And every single game is still up and running and extremely easy to get a game on...Xbox live is awesome. Just wait until halo 2, subscription will triple.
Wolfenstein is a blast online, and Capcom vs. snk 2 is great for fighting fans, the sega sports games are great, as long as you don't run into pausers, and moto gp 2 is the best online racing game ever.....at least until PGR2 comes out

Xbox Live Web: Live stats and friends lists will be available to view through a new Xbox site that links to the service – something only available on Xbox Live.

Xbox Live conducts regular competitions and tournaments for its members, so if you're a legend the whole world will know and respect you. This year at E3 we're holding the Ultimate Championship where four semi-finalists who have played online meet in person in the Arena at the Xbox. The Ultimate Champion will have to be victorious in three games: Star Wars Clone Wars, Castle Wolfenstein and Midnight Club 2, to take the ultimate crown. Xbox Live will be hosting regular tournaments of all sizes, all exclusively for its members.
