I must say one thing in response, that is that Halo made X-Box, and not t'other way around.

It was scheduled for a simultaneous PC-Mac release before M$ made their move, and back then, my PC-gamer friends looked to the day it came as the second coming

The fact that he thinks that anyone who doesn't by an Apple does so simply out of ignorance, and not because it better fits their needs was something that shouldn't go unchallenged. Besides the fact that I have six years of experience with the mac... which is more than him, so obviously I'm not the ignorant one.

I think that was what erupted this whole thing.

BTW, I did watch the the whole video last night. And I kept thinking, "All these innovations are new? I thought I'd been doing them on my PC for a long time." The G5 is a nice toaster though. Too bad the Opteron and P5 will be able to make a better Pop Tart.

I'll have to disagree with you on that. I want this argument to end as much as everybody else. So, I won't bother to post a proper rebuttal. I would just ask for the other people who have participated in this argument to go watch that video and make up their own minds.

I have a very simple question for PC users.

Has it occurred to you that not every one wants to use windows? That not everyone wants to be bent over and fucked by Bill Gates?

I am not going to say that Macs are better than PCs. it would be a waste of my time to do so. Because, no matter how much proof I may have, you will never be convinced. The same goes for trying to convince Mac users. You honestly think that you can convince hard-core Mac users that this new Intel or Athlon 64 bit processor is superior to that of the G5. It's impossible.

What are you trying to accomplish by spending your time posting on this stupid dumb ass forum?

Let me make a suggestion. Turnoff your computer and read a fucking book. Go outside. Do something constructive. What I find it amusing about PC users, is that you let Mac users get to you. because, if you were totally convinced that the PC was superior, why do you feel it necessary to constantly defend your position.

Give me one reason to respect your opinion. What makes you so special. Since when were you so significant to the PC community?

My two cents' worth

If you think that the Mac will die, you are wrong. because, as long as there are PC users, there will be a pesky Mac user ready to piss you off. There is a good reason why Apple has such loyal users. Because Macs work. macs have a look,feel, and a personality that makes them such a pleasure to use. A sense of comfort. While we may only have 5% of the entire computer market, we want to keep it that way.

Apple has to have a great product in order to convince millions of people to use it. If macs were so bad, that 5% market would dry up pretty fucking quick. Apple has a high standard to live up to.we are talking 90% of the market here. It is this 5% that gives Apple an edge. They must have great products, hardware, and software to maintain the market they have.

It is amusing how much you PC users are butt-fucked by that 90% of the comsumer computer market. And I will be damned before I will bend to the will of the PC Community. I say fuck you and everybody that looks like you!

I have wasted too much time trying to convince you genetically challenged misfits, a point which doesn't even matter.

But, hey, thats my opinion, I could be wrong

I think some people are starting to lose the point of this forum... It's about having inane pointless arguments.. Is it stupid? Yes. Is it fun? Sometimes.

I dont think PCs are better either. This whole thing was started by Apollo saying that all PC people were ignorant, and simply used their platform of choice because they didn't know better. And, as in the nature of this forum (system bashing) I defended it. Nothing here is taken personally or anything. Its just a place to have useless flame wars, so it doesn't clog up the useful sections of the board.

I'm not quite sure what he means by bending to our will, or whatever. It seems to me that he's starting to lose the point of this forum. I know that Apollo will never change his mind. We're just having a useless arguement, trying to see what the other side comes up with.

And, Random User, you suggest that we read instead of this? Let me suggest something for you. Learn how to fucking write. Question marks are to be used on all questions, not just the ones you feel like putting it at the end of. Also, capital letters can and should be used at the beginning of the sentence. Also, fragments are better than sentences; even in a pointless hypocritical insult. At least we type our pointless argument like adults.

Random User, you, like Apollo, are completely missing the point. As I said on several occasions, I know damn well that Apollo (or any other Mac user) won't switch based on my argument. Like Break said, my problem was not with the computer itself, my problem was with Apollo and his belief that anyone who didn't use Apple machines, or used PC's, was simply ignorant. I also had a big problem with Apple advertising, and their typical biased and half-assed benchmarks and comparisons.

I don't know where you got the idea that Bill Gates nails all PC users in the ass. I use a Microsoft OS, yes, but it's a good OS as far as I'm concerned. Did you ever stop to think that it might be Steve Jobs fucking YOU in the ass?

I also don't know where you got the idea that we believed that Mac's were gonna die. Mac's do indeed have a look, a feel and a personality. It just doesn’t fit with me any more.

Fuck me? I say fuck you. You seem to be forgetting that it’s the 90% of the market (people like me) that Apple has to live up to. If you do away with everyone like me, Apple loses its competition, and therefore it's drive to make better machines. The same thing would happen if people like Apollo won and convinced all PC users to switch.
