If you look at the contents of that there link, you'll see some news about PSP I'm quite happy about. First of all because it was rumoured these things would be in a new model, basically forcing you to buy a new PSP. They're addons, though, so you can still have them without spending an additional $250.
Sony's also going to bring the standard pack without all the crap in it (amazingly small memory stick, case, wrist strap, and cleaning cloth) to North America to replace the "Value" Pack. For this, I really should've waited 3 months. Still, I got mine cheap anyway (second hand).
Probably the most interesting thing is that Sony's not only going to allow PSP games and demos to be download (read: sold), but also is going to create a PS1 emulator for PSP so you can essentially play all the games you remember and love (I've been waiting for FFT, Vagrant Story, Dragon Warrior 7, Grandia, Star Ocean 2, and Valkyrie Profile ports up until now). I'm hoping this emulator is a downloadable thing as well, but I'd be more then willing to get these on UMD as well.
Finally, in a firmware update, the PSP will support Flash in it's browser, as well as internet radio... so I can FINALLY listen to the show via my PSP!
