Ya, things are pretty expensive to buy with gold. But it doesn't take too long, depending on the matches you play. Me and one of my friends play really quick 1 on 1 matches. We find that that's the easiest way to make gold faster. In just 3 days, I saved up enough to buy stupid emo looking glasses to match my stupid mowhawk. I would've bought the santa hat like I wanted, but it doesn't raise stats the way I wanted. You can also buy with cash. Something like 9,500=$10.00. I'd rather not pay though, and get more experience. Anyways, once you reach a certain ranking, something like 1800 GP, I think you get sent a free outfit and stuff. My friend got sent a Space Marine outfit.
