XB360 BC news.

There's a 360 on display at work. I play it every day on break.

Werd to R6, but I'm not so sure about CoD. It looks great, sure, but not quite "next gen". It just doesn't blow me away, not like the last time we had a generation jump.

HOOOOOOOLY MOTHER FUCKER HALF LIFE 2 IS ON THE LIST! I was wondering how they couldve been so stupid as to put Half-Life 2 only on the Xbox and not do anything with it for the 360...

Well they are bumping up HL2 to 720p on the 360... Not sure if the original Xbox can handle that.

And while I see your point, Richie, have you noticed that no matter how much action is happening on the screen (firing a chaingun turret at a wall, chips flying, people running, bullets blowing by, planes flying overhead, bombs blowing pockets of dirt into the air), the framerate never skips a beat? Sure the textures could use some work, but the framerate is like a rock. That, and those damn Nazis can THINK, man. Bastards are smaht.

I just wish Advent Rising was on that list. God knows they could have done with some 360 power when running that game.

True, Ru, the framerate never really has a hickup, but you could say that's due to the less-than-awe-inspiring graphical settings.

The A.I. did pwn me, though, twice. It's a vast improvement from the original in that regard.

Call Of Duty 2 is a lot better than I thought it was going to be for the 360. Just started playing it tonight, and I haven't jumped online yet, but I like what I see. I just love WWII games that have great AI and a solid framerate.
