Jesus motherfucking Christ. One of the best movies I've ever seen in my life. *bows before Spielberg* Su-fucking-perb directing.

BTW, I saw it tonight in Mann's Chinese Theater in Hollywood. I don't know if I can ever go to another theater again.

Oh, we can let Tom off for that, now can't we? He did a pretty good job in the movie. I mean, yeah, Scientology is a cult that believes in things blindly, but I don't dislike a movie because an actor from that religion is in it. The scene when he is running from the vaperizing cannon (the first one) was absolutely amazing. One of the most amazing segments I've seen in any movie. Three fellow USC film students went with me to see it, and we all pretty much thought the same things. Try to see it in THX though, it really improves it.

Side note, Dr. Tom Holmon, the TH in THX is a teacher here at USC. He set up the sound for our orientation.

PS. The kool-aid only slightly beats out Jesus juice.

My manager (boss) got a bootleg DVD of it in front of the local Hollywood Video for 5 bucks and is going to let me borrow it.
