I think that saying Nintendo didn't show up is an incorrect perception for next-gen. We learned new details on the Rev and actually saw the console. They will still launch alongside the PS3. Just because they didn't bring a PC and play "idealistic" movies doesn't mean they didn't show up.
When you cut through the PR BS, it was obvious that everyone had a poor, poor showing. Those that say Sony had a "Strong" showing are merely blinded by pretty pictures and for all we know, vapor stats.
Next year's E3 will be the real deal. And yes, the big N better come out swinging.
What GAMES did everyone really come away wanting after seeing gameplay? Lots of DS games, some PS2 games and Zelda.
