It was confirmed in the latest Japanese Issue of Newtype that Weta Workshop is working together with ADV and Gainax to create a live-action version of Neon Genesis Evangelion, it's title follows the same titling as the series and movie, "Neon Genesis Evangelion: Project [re]".

However, it is unconfirmed if the storyline will follow along the lines of the anime. Since I just recently (yesterday) finished watching the Neon Genesis Evangelion series, I'm going to keep careful watch of this and bring you any more news that reaches me.

Speaking of live action anime, yesterday it was confirmed that there'll be a new live-action Sailor Moon series in Japan. Kinda scary if you ask me...

You guys should know where I stand on Sailor Moon, so I'm looking forward to the Sailor Moon live-action series (yes, I did say series) as well as the NGE live-action movie.

I'm interested in viewing other people's comments about these two live-action makes, not just mine and Trelane's. Get your comments in!

Man, I would love to see a live-action Kenshin movie. I'm not sure if the EVA movie is going to be too good though, I mean, it's probably going to be too hard to pull off and make the anime fans happy.

personally im afraid of live action, on the fact of the DBZ one, then theres the Parasite EVE one where they repeat MITOCHONDRIA in an annoying engrish voice, ohhh bout 100 times.

but most importantly do not forget the live action LA Blue Girl,
yes it happened, yes your manhood dies if you watch it, and yes you too should check it out
