New Zelda.

Post by Verence »

Ok, by now we should all know that Link turns into a wolf in this game, but even more interesting...

"A search of the title Twilight Princess on the Internet, however, reveals some interesting information. Apparently this is also the name of a Japanese manga which was inspired by the movie Ladyhawke. That film tells the story of a knight and his lady ruined by a horrible curse. The knight is forever cursed to transform into a wolf with the moonlight, just as the lady is cursed to change into a hawk at the first sign of sunlight. There is a possibility, albeit far from proven, that the new Zelda may mirror this storyline. Footage from the latest trailer seems to back this theory, as Link can be seen carrying a hawk on his arm as he explores certain areas. If Twilight Princess does follow the Ladyhawke storyline, that hawk would of course be Zelda."

You know shes gonna be in some puzzles now...well uh at least now she will actually be doing something for once lazy bitch...so does that mean you have the human form of Zelda walking around with you or riding you while your a wolf? Looks through all those screens of him being a wolf and see if you can see Zelda in any of them, because if not, then either they have a stupid thing where she flies off every dusk or it is just a hawk. Or perhaps she joins up with you later in the game.

I just don't think that Zelda is with you in the one wolf sequence the trailer shows.

I am SO looking forward to this game. :)

I just found out myself what the new Zelda game would be called. "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess" was definitely not on the top of my list. Then again, with a name like "The Wind Waker" I should have guessed.

Nevertheless, I have great and undying faith in the Zelda ceators and team. There is no doubt that this game is going to beat out all others in terms of the famous action RPG style they're known to sport. And if all these features I'm hearing about are true, then its definitely a "sexier than anything; ever" rating in my book!

I've been finding bits of information on this game over the last couple of days, and every time I hear more, the game looks better and better. Apparently the game isn't at all related to Ladyhawk because the director of the game never heard of it before people asked him at E3.

I've seen some footage of actual gameplay aside from the trailer, and the game just looks very fun to play, riding on horseback, taking out tons of enemies, interacting with animals, and everything else just looks fun. There is supposed to be more dungeons and more difficulty than Wind Waker, and they are trying to be better than OOT, so we'll see how things turn out.

All these next gen games look interesting, but really I am most looking foreword to Zelda. I want this game soooo bad. I also actually like the name Twilight Princess. It sounds kind of cool. It reminds me of an anime title, or mysterious plot. I just can't wait for this game. Maybe we'll get lucky and get some cool bonus like the lastgame too.

Yeah, but had he heard of the manga NAMED "Twighlight Princess", in which the male hero turns into a wolf? The manga that he may not have known was based on the movie Ladyhawke? :P
