Lars from zeldauniverse.net wrote:* Link is 16 years old when the game starts, but they emphasize that will "mature" during the game, whether this is just mentally or physically as well is not clear.
* The Village shown in the scans is the very first village in the game, called "Taoru Village".
* Controls will remain more or less unchanged from The Wind Waker, this includes the return of L-Targeting as well as Auto Jump.
* Game will be "two to three times as large as Ocarina of Time", with more than 70 hours of total gameplay (estimate, of course).
* The developers have aimed for a very realistic approach with the water, and there will be an underwater part of the game as well (could indicate the return of another "Water Temple").
* Eiji Aonuma wanted the graphics for the game to be as refined as possible, which is why they didn't use the graphics from the SpaceWorld 2000 GameCube Tech Demo, featuring Ganon and Link.
* The amount of mini games in this game will, just as in The Wind Waker, be fairly large, and an example of a mini game is where you have to lead some cows in to a certain area while on your horse back.
* The Writer of this article got to play three different demos of the game (which are most likely the ones that will be displayed to the public at E3):
-The 1st Demo was in Taoru Village, and was an "introduction" for the game, helping them get to know the controls etc.
-2nd Demo was the mini game were you had to lead the herd of cows in to the special area, which the writer pointed out to be a lot of fun.
-The 3rd and last Demo was a horseback fighting scene where he fight an armored enemy riding a boar. He had the option to fight either with the sword or by using the bow and arrows.
* The Article also talked about Four Swords for the DS, which is said to be quite different from Four Swords Adventures, but it will be featuring the same unique gameplay as FSA did.

If Nintendo delivers on everything in that article, I will be in Zelda heaven. The length of the game and size of Hyrule make me want the game all the more. I hope they more than make up for the lack of length and dungeon content in Wind Waker. Now that I have, love, and have played the hell out of Jade Empire, this is probably my most wanted game of the year so far. Nothing else comes close at the moment.

That article says OOT all over it to me. Seems like it's a similar dev process. Needless to say, I'm excited.

Very nice new images. I really can't wait to see more of it in motion at E3. I envy the lucky people at the press conference when they show everything this year. But thank God for broadband.

My only potential disappointment for this new Zelda so far is the lack of voice acting. I understand if they don't want Link to speak, but with a game looking this good and epic, it's really time to have full voice acting and a non-midi soundtrack.

The lack of voice acting doesn't bother me, actually. I think voices would really hinder the enigmatic feel the series has.

What does bother me is the puke ground texture. That's straight up N64 blur action.

Oh well. I will still pee a little with excitement when it comes out.
