Eject button arrow faces different ways on top pic vs bottom pic.

"Memory" is upper case M on one and lower case m on the other.

If these guys want to put up a good hoax, at least make it consistent.

Perhaps the bottom one is real. The top two are more than likely fakes with those inconsistencies you pointed out, Mothergoat.

The new reward pic on ourcolony seems to support that the bottom one is real.

They are interesting pics, and there are some promising aspects to them if they are even close to real, but I'll just wait till the 12th and ...mtv... to see for myself.

A couple things that haven't been touched on for specs much yet that I'd be interested in.

I'm not big on appearances, so I don't care if the console is rather bland or ugly, as long as it plays my games perfectly. However I do hope they've shrunk the system from the beastly size of the original. It's huge, and I want to cram more stuff on my shelves.

I really hope they go with an optional remote for DVD playback and/or Tivo stuff. Ever since the Sega CD, and probably a little before, the controllers worked just fine for navigating simple navigation menus.

With that said, I'm still very excited to see this new system and the games for it. The potential price, especially for the more powerful model seems a tad high, but you are getting alot of functionality. I can already tell I'm going to need a serious inflow of cash for later this year. Damn being unemployed at the moment!
