You guys can call me slow or whatever, but I heard that if you buy an xbox starter kit for online after 1 year you have to start paying money. I just want to know if this is true. Thanks for your time.

The starter kit comes with a communication headset, the xbox live software, game demos, and a 1 year subscription to Xbox live. After that one year, you have to pay to renew, as you would when any other kind of subscription ran out.
