About E3...

Ok, give it to me straight.

How much would I have to spend to go this year? (IE, how much do you guys usually have to spend per person.)

I was hoping I would get a free trip this year from work, but a guy one step higher up the ladder got it, so if I want to go I'll have to pay my own way.

And higher up retailers can go. For the press it's cheaper (like for us) because we get a lot of things free or discounted.

Expect to spend quite a bit of money.

It's around $200-$300 to get in just for an expo pass for all three days, then you also have to plan on travel and room/board, so you can imagine just how expensive it gets.

Not too bad, I used to live in LA, so I have friends I can crash with for a few days. My tax refund might cover just about all of it. I might just see you guys there...

Relatively its not that expensive....I mean for a family of four to go to Disney World for 5 days and have fun it would cost around 4k
