Who else picked up RE4?

I did. And it rocks the house. Just finished Chapter 1. I have a feeling this game will be ridiculously scary and fun if this is any indication of how frenetic the rest of the game is going to be.

Yeah, I also just finished the first chapter. I suck at it. I died 4 times in the first chapter, but it's awesome.

I definitely plan on picking this one up as soon as I can. However I bought Minish Cap instead because I can only afford one game right now, and I'm a Zelda whore. thankfully my room mate should have his copy tomorrow, and I'll play his till I can afford my own copy. If the game is as good as it looks, I'll need this game very soon.

I'd be interested to hear more impressions too.

Sometimes it blows up their heads, sometimes it doesn't. I find it's much easier to explode heads when using the rifle and scope. There's actually alot of ways to explode heads and each way is very satisfying.

Rumors are starting to pop up that the PS2 version has been canned. I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that it's probably technical issues that the PS2 just can't handle it.

That said, it's nothing official yet.

It wouldn't surprise me at all that the PS2 couldn't handle it. This game will most likely force me to buy a GC later this year. I leave KS tomorrow morning to go back home to the warmth of the Pacific Coast. I think I will celebrate by getting San Andreas. About time I get it.

One of the rumors I heard was that Nintendo bought back the exclusive rights or something. Whatever the truth is, I do hope it stays as a Gamecube exclusive, at least for a few years. By the way, has anyone seen that chainsaw controller that was released? I know it's supposed to be out, but I haven't seen it. I'm seriously thinking about getting it. I'm mean, I'm sure it's huge and clunky, but it's just so awesome. And anyways in a few years if I don't want it anymore, I'm sure I could sell it for at least $100.
