Naw. Reel Big Fish takes more from 3rd/4th wave ska bands. I think Reel Big Fish have sounds that are more in common with Operation Ivy because they have a mixture of punk and ska (by the way I think Reel Big Fish is nowhere near as good as Operation Ivy, but that's my opinion). The Urge on the other hand is more of an alternative rock band with horns. Both Reel Big Fish and The Urge use horns but I think they sound very different stylistically.Dubya wrote:The Urge rip-offs.

Actually The Urge and Reel Big Fish both started releasing CDs the same year; 1995. They were both part of that pop/ska movement, but ultimately share style and don't really rip one another off.Dubya wrote:The Urge rip-offs.
Besides that, they do have a fairly different sound even though they share the same genre.

As for the little song debate, they're both pretty good.
Back on to the real topic however, that's a load of shit if I ever saw one. I totally 100% agree with Break that the ESPN games are not only good sports games, but they're just fun games to play. I'm not a huge sports fan. Other than the occasional NFL game, I could care less about sports. Upon getting my free copy of the first NFL 2K game with my DC though, I got a little more into football games. I tried Madden on the newer consoles and hated it, never liked it to begin with really. As far as I'm concerned, ESPN NFL 2K5, the original NFL Blitz, and Techmo Bowl are the only football games I ever need.
I wonder if EA will be even more greedy and try and grab the MLB and NHL licenses too. Bastards. I wonder what Sega's NFL team will do now.
