Is that official? I hadn't heard anything concrete about price yet. Regardless, it'll rock. I might have to wait to get it used with my employee discount, but I'll get it eventually.

More like POSP. Well, actually it's not a POS, but it's not worth the price. But the price is still just speculation. Maybe I'd get a PSP if it sells for $100. Otherwise, the DS is the way too go. More innovation, interesting multipalyer, more uses, and more fun.

WOW, that is a shit load of cash. I honestly doubt I get it. You never know, but right now I can't even picture spending that much.

I may get the psp two or three years down the road, but for now, DS is the way for me!

$350? For a handheld? When consoles are going for ~$150 these days? No thanks. I'll get a DS and spend the $200 left over on games.

Come now, I doubt it'll be that much. Site some official sources and I might not laugh at you like you just offered me a weasel with spicy mustard. :?

Hey... I happen to like weasels with spicy mustard.
But yeah, is there an "official" price yet?

There was some pricing going around saying anywhere from ~$200 to ~$500, but those were discredited by Sony. If anyone has anything official, please, let us know.

Some sites are saying that the PSP might get postponed.

If it is at least $350, all I can say is
Hahahahahahahaha

That machine would deserve to fail at that price. Home systems don't cost near that much now, and some even launched cheaper.

It does have a lot of features, but not much inovation, and it might cost a shit ton of money.

there is no way i would pay 350+ for a handheld. i love handhelds and in fact plan on selling at least one of my consoles to support my lust for a ds since i don't even like spending 150 for it. don't get me wrong i love it and i think that is a fair price but i am cheap. i got my cube for that price and that included like 2 games in that total.

anyways i think the psp is an interesting idea but not one that can be marketed at this time when technology is causing it to be this expensive.

Don't forget, the DS is gonna come bundled with a Metroid Prime Demo. That's better than Nintendo ever did with the GBA.

I'm guessing the PSP will be $250 to $300, but Sony won't tell us for sure.
