I just bought Burnout 3: Takedown on my lunch break and I think I will actually go insane before the day is over. It just sits here, beckoning me to play it. Alas, there are no game consoles at my workplace. DAMN YOU, state of Arkansas, for not being gamer friendly. I played the demo and it was like pure cocaine was being dispersed from the XBox console. I just kept coming back. The Game Stop guy was actively persuing my eviction from the premises. Needless to say, there will be some hardcore gaming action goin' on at my place when I get home. Burnout 3 is a big hunk of DAMN RIGHT and I can't wait to get into it.

Yeah... when I typed the post I had a line about crossing the Manhunt threshold, but I didn't know if anyone would remember the incident or get the joke.
I'm not sure I'll be able to afford the game right away, but it's coming from Gamefly next, so I can't wait. Everything I've seen of this game looks fantastic. I'm not a huge fan of racing games, mainly only a select few, but this one just looks great any way you look at it. I can't wait to hear some of your impressions and then play it myself.

Lieberman, eat your heart out!
This post was mine. I don't know why it showed up as guest. Anyway.
Just got Burnout 3 along with Fable, and I've been playing Burnout 3 about twice as much. I haven't had a game rob me of so much sleep and leave me so happy in a long time. I pity Senator Lieberman that he will never know the joy of a Takedown Rampage.
You got it Verence, this game does rock. I've gotten a heapload of cars and it still gives me an evil smirk to see one of the little jewels crushed into oblivion.
