It is pretty cool... a friend of mine had it collecting dust in his basement, and called me to see if we had room for it. There have been some modifications to it in it's life, and it isn't anywhere near mint condition, but it is still "retro cool".

Sweet! It is, after all, the best arcade game of all time. I don't care what you DDR Ninjas say..

Yeah, one of the joysticks doesn't block half of the time... This is one of the few things I need to work on before we move it out into the main room at AdrenaLAN.

So do you guys have some soldering skills? If you do, and you have a general idea how to wire these things, then fixing the controls should be pretty easy. Just order some new parts from Happ. They supply all arcades with their parts, and that's where my friend who makes my arcade sticks orders from.

Of course, I'm not sure of the condition of the pcb. You can get some good info at http://www.shoryuken.com in the hardware/technical forum. Happ parts are of high quality, and fairly inexpensive at that!!!
I'll be damned if I ever get beat by a button masher!!!

An update on this... Newman cleaned all the contacts with lemon juice, and I cleaned up the screen and am working on getting the light on the top working.. it is looking really good, and the left joystick is working perfect!
