So, what going on this week overseas?

Well, Yuji Naka and Sonic Team are working on 2 new Sonic titles. One
for the DS and one apparently for the Gamecube. I hear that the DS
title will have game play seen at last years' E3 where the player
rubbed the screen to make Sonic run faster or slower.

Nintendo is boosting money into R&D (5 billion yen to be exact) for
the DS. They're using to help develop software and with promotion.

Nobuo Uematsu is brining his Dear Friends: Music from Final Fantasy
concert to San Francisco on March 7. It is basically a symphony playing
various music from Final Fantasy games. I think Nobu should go on tour
with the Minibosses and the Advantage.

Nyco is going to release a PSP Charger. It makes battery life on the
PSP 200% longer. I guess this is somewhat of a solution to the PSP
battery life problem, but you have to keep the system in the charger
for it to work, which makes it look less cool and makes you look more
dorky.

From my personal experience of being in Korea, Korean people are known
for and known how to do strikes. Gameshot.net is reporting that the
Korea Internet/PC Culture Organization is boycotting against Blizzard
and World of Warcraft. Why? Apparently they are up in arms because in
countries like the US and Japan where the average yearly income is
higher, players pay cheaper monthly fees. But in Korea the monthly fee
to play World of Warcraft calculates to something like $24 a month. For
the time being, they are asking Blizzard to stop with fees until they
can negotiate, otherwise they are ready to launch a campaign with anti
World of Warcraft websites, worldofwarcraft.com site blocking programs,
and they will have a World of Warcraft CD burning demonstration. Yeah,
don't let the man get you down! Korea has a huge community of online
gamers. I don't think Blizzard will ignore this group. Who knows what
will happen.
