Not having very much knowledge of the Hitman Universe, it was kind of hard to compare the demo I played on the floor to past games. But, based on the gameplay, mechanics, and overall tone of the game, I came to realize that “Hitman: Absolution” is what it should be: a solid game about a hitman. It ran very smoothly, the graphics were beautiful, and there were multiple ways to take out your target. The situation the demo gave me was very simple, but every time I played I could find different ways to deal with my targets.

But sometimes, all they needed was a hug.

One complaint is that you moved very slowly. I found myself trying every single button on the controller to figure out how to move faster, and it wasn’t that much of a difference once I figured it out. Maybe I’m just stupid, and there was another way to move even faster, but I guess it did look kind of badass walking with perfect posture while cops shoot you.

I don’t think “Hitman: Absolution” is going to have that much of a problem with reviewers once it’s released.  The game feels like it’s going to offer more than just assassin nuns, and that, we can all agree, is a good thing.

Have a day!
