God really does hate us, apparently.. My power just came back on so I can post this, but we are supposed to get hit two more times today.
I woke up this morning at 7:30 AM to no power, tornados all around me, and sirens going off. After all was said and done, much of Lawrence is damaged including 60 buildings at The University of Kansas. They might even cancel classes tomorrow. The National Weather Service also declared Lawrence in a state of "Civil Emergency." Luckily, the Breakdom emerged unscathed in the first weather attack. Here’s to hoping for these next two. We may still be on.. but I’m not going to do a show with tornados all around.
