Something happened thanks to the greatness of Netflix over the last week. I've become addicted to the amazing Fox series, 24. When I first heard about the series, believe me, I was incredibly skeptical, and I still was all the way up until I saw the first episode of season 1 on dvd last week.
How wrong I was to be quick to judge with the series, without even seeing an episode.
Now I know some people might hate the show, and some people out there also love it. Richie and I are both loving it right now, and we can't wait to see how the first season ends, and we also can't wait to get on to the 2nd season, which is also available on dvd right now. All I can say is that there's plenty of story and action in the series, and it's amazing just how much stuff they can pack into one hour shows, and then fit it all into the overarcing story, which takes place over 24 episodes, all in "real-time".
All I'm going to say at this point, is that you have to check it out. If you've never seen an episode of 24, or you've started watching in the middle of a season and you can't figure out what's going on, then stop watching it (if you are) because you'll be hopelessly lost more than likely. Start from the beginning of the series, if you really want to figure out what's going on. Richie and I are getting to the final few episodes of season 1, and we just can't wait to see what happens next, and what happens in the end.
Oh yeah, and Ridge Racers is still unbelievable.
