Nothing wrong with that, but I feel that it is my job as a journalist to present all information as well. If I had just let Weezer go unchallened, one might believe Nintendo never made a mistake! Same thing goes here.
Well, let me see, you couldn't have been there for much over 7 hours, maybe 8 if you were early. Hm...you probably didn't experience even a quarter of the popular vote for the 360 there. It's mainly the fact that they ALL fell in love with the original Xbox for 1 reason or another (Halo...Halo...Halo...Halo 2...Halo 2...a few select people actually had more games than that though, but only a few. And those few got bored with the game very quickly too).

But, I began my college career as a Comp Engineering student and have studied that sort of thing on my own time as well. Heat management is one of the best signs of quality engineering. The fact that the Cell should produce more heat overall than the 360 but is silent and cool should say something about the overall construction. I'm saying it is a sign of other problems with the engineering. The overall picture, not the snap shot.
Well, as I said before...I think...The PS3s that have been shipped out to reviewers so far are all pretty damn bare-boned. They're more stripped down than a hooker in New York City. With that in mind, there's less weight to worry about, more space inside the console, less features for it to start up when it's turned on (which does contribute to heat build up), and with the wide open spaces inside the console itself allow the components inside of it to be stuck away from the disc, and the top of the console (where people typically feel the console to tell if it's warm), so it's very easy to fool people into thinking it's better than it is.
I'm not saying that it's not really cool to the touch after extensive play, I'm just stating the possibility. After all, the big odd against the 360's hardware is that, still, it came out to damn soon, and thus the hardware specs aren't NEARLY as polished anymore.

Like I said, everyone is too damn picky about that soft humming sound. Guess I must be used to loud noises though since my brother always has the TV on to the point where I think I can literallly feel my ear collapsing into itself...
